Fieldstone is fully climate controlled with heating and air conditioning to keep you and your guests comfortable year round.
Westminster Preserve is not climate controlled, therefore is only open from May through mid-October.
-
Fieldstone can seat up to 150 guests inside the barn, with the option for an additional 30 guests with use of the covered deck, season permitting.
Westminster Preserve can accommodate up to 250 guests in our elegant tent set up.

Of course! With the unpredictable weather in Western Pennsylvania, we are always prepared for whatever may come. We will keep an eye on the weather the week leading up to your wedding day and stay in touch with you. Our popular options include:
At Fieldstone, the downstairs of the barn is a beautiful space for a ceremony, with the backdrop of the original fieldstone foundation.
At Westminster Preserve, the barn is a perfect weather backup plan. We can leave the sliding barn doors open so the pictures still have the “outdoorsy” feel you were looking for when you booked the venue.
-
Our packages do not include catering or bartending services, however we have curated a list of fantastic preferred caterers and vendors and are happy to point you in the right direction!
-
We require full service caterers. That means that they provide linens, tableware, and servers that will be present throughout the event to keep the room and tables neat and tidy throughout the event.
While we do provide you a list of preferred caterers, you are welcome to choose a caterer that is not on the list. We just ask that they get in contact with us before you book them to ensure we are all on the same page about the expectations of the event.
-
For bartenders, we require a company that is fully insured, licensed, and RAMP certified. We have a strict “no shots” and “no drinks on the rocks” policy, meaning that all liquor must be mixed with a non-alcoholic mixer. Our preferred bartending company is a great, reliable option. They guide you on how much alcohol to purchase, and provide all of the mixers, fruits, cups, straws, and napkins.

Since we are a weekend wedding venue, we have two lodging houses included in each venue package. These houses are the perfect place to get ready with your wedding party! Fieldstone also includes a bridal suite located inside the barn for the bride and bridesmaids to hide out before the ceremony begins.
-
Beginning at 12:00pm on Friday, you have full access to the barn and both of the lodging houses. You can set up, settle in, and relax before your rehearsal dinner begins that evening.
-
The barn opens at 9:00am on Saturday morning for vendors to set up. Any vendors who don’t need immediate access to the barn (hair and makeup artists, photographers, videographers, etc.) are welcome on property at any time Saturday morning.
-
The bar must close by 10:00pm, the DJ should finish up his last song by 10:30pm, and the barn will close and be shut down at 11:00pm.
However, the party doesn’t have to end! Any guests staying on the property are welcome to enjoy the post-reception bonfire for as long as they’d like.
-
Glitter and confetti of any kind are not permitted on the property. Sparklers are also not allowed.
Real candles may be used, provided they are enclosed in a vase, lantern, or candle votive that safely contains the flame.
For ceremony exits or other celebratory tosses held outdoors, only biodegradable materials are permitted, such as birdseed, real flower petals (fresh or dried), rice, etc.

Hiring a separate day-of-coordinator is not required, as coordination servers are already included in our wedding packages.
Our coordinators are available throughout the planning process to answer questions, assist with timeline development, create your floor plan, and lead your wedding rehearsal. They will also be on-site throughout the wedding weekend, working directly with your vendors to ensure everything stays on schedule and runs smoothly.
If you would like more hands-on assistance during the planning process or need support with the setup and breakdown of personal decor, you are welcome to hire an additional coordinator or full-service wedding planner to help with those details.
